Ranch Hand

​

Salary: $9-$11 per hour

Start date: ASAP

Hours: 8-10 hours a day.  Weekends available if you desire

​

We are looking for one person to assist with taking care of farm animals and general ranch hand duties.

Responsibilities include:

•      cleaning pens,

•      setting and repairing fences

•      feeding and watering animals

•      cleaning stalls

•      landscaping

•      basic handyman chores

•      fence repair

•      setting up and breaking down furniture and equipment

•      cleaning and trash removal.

Housekeeping

Start date: ASAP

Hours: 3-5 hours a day

Experience Not Required

Responsibilities

• Cleaning cabins after guest check out

• Preparing sheets, towels, and supplies for the following days cabins

• Folding and washing laundry

• Help clean barn for weddings and events

• Potentially helping with administrative work 

 

Skills

• Must be very clean, neat and detail oriented 

• Must love animals

• Attention to the smallest detail

• Ability to spot problems

• Organization and Planning

Responsibilities

• Interact with the animals

• Conduct animal encounters tours that are offered by Blue Hills

• Plan, organize, and recommend things to make the animals happy

• Track vaccinations, deworming, births, etc.

• Be able to lead a trail ride on horseback with guests

 

Skills

• Must love animals

• Be comfortable around and willing to learn about all types of animals

• Attention to the smallest detail

• Must be good with horses and be able to supervisor a group

• Customer focused

• Some Photography for social media

• Planning / Organization processes / record keeping / data entry
